ABOUT THE EVENT
We spend about 1/3 of our lives at work. How can we harness this time better to bring value to our organisations, our colleagues, and ourselves?
Through this 60-min class, you will understand the importance of using a strengths-based approach to enhance your work experience.
Strengths are patterns of thinking, feeling, or behaving that, when exercised, will engage, and energise you, and allow you to perform at your optimal level (Willars & Biswas-Diener, 2010).
By identifying, labelling, accepting, and using our strengths wisely, we are more adaptable to change, proactive in new work environments and have higher levels of resilience.
Research has also shown that individuals who can identify, accept and build on their natural strengths are more engaged, confident, have higher job satisfaction and perform better in the workplace.
In this session, you will:
Understand why you need to know your strengths in today's world (as opposed to your weaknesses)
Discover your realised and unrealized strengths
Understand how you have used your strengths in the past within your own work context
Gain a brief overview of how we can harness a strengths-approach for career development
Get certified and
accelerate your growth
With an addition of just $15, you will be awarded with a Certificate of Participation at the end of the course.
With a certificate, you can:
Enhance your professional credibility
Reward yourself for your commitment
Get more networking opportunities
Become a better mentor
Meet your trainer
