In this 60-min session, Communications Trainer Mary-Lynn Lim will take parents through the fundamentals of positively engaging with their young children (7-12 years old).
As an educator and counsellor for young learners, Mary-Lynn has observed the significant influence of parents' communication styles on childrens’ development, and their interaction with the parents and others.
Learn the building blocks for supportive and engaging parent-child communication, and gain necessary knowledge to deepen your relationship with your child!
In this session, you will:

What is a Virtual Classroom?
Engage Virtual Classroom was created for participants to receive quality training on Psychology and Positive Psychology at the comfort of their own home.
How do I log in to the Virtual Classroom?
The link to join the class will be emailed to you 2 to 3 business days before the class date. On the day of the class, log in using this link 5 to 10 minutes before the commencement of the session. You will need to enter your name and email address that you have registered with.
What are your fees?
What is the duration for each session of the Virtual Class?
Our sessions range in duration from 1-hour to multiple hours over a few days. Please refer to the specific course page for more information.
How early should I log in to the session?
We would recommend you to access 5 to 10 minutes before the session begins. We will begin exactly at the top of the hour, so arrive early so you don't miss any of the content.
Do I need to mute myself during the session?
No - we'll take care of that for you. As an attendee, you are automatically muted.
