Introduction to Performance Coaching

In this session, participants will learn to define coaching and recognise its professional boundaries. We will focus especially on setting sophisticated agendas, powerful listening skills, and asking provocative questions. There will be demonstrations, discussion, and opportunities for practice. 

Sunday, Apr 10th

Responsible and Effective Coaching

In this session, participants will learn about the ethical foundations of coaching as well as tools for understanding and harnessing emotion as it relates to motivation. 

Saturday, Apr 17th

Strengths Coaching

In this session, participants will learn about strengths and weaknesses as they relate to performance. We will discuss strengths labels, strengths development, and team strengths.

Sunday, Apr 18th

Creating Improved Self-Awareness

In this session, participants will learn a variety of tools that coaches use to enhance awareness. We will practice using these skills and discuss the contexts in which they are the most appropriate.

Saturday, Apr 24th

Coaching for Solutions

In this session, participants will learn how to orient conversations away from complaints and toward empowerment and solutions. We will discuss 14 distinct skills and have an opportunity to practice many of them.

Sunday, Apr 25th

Positive Work

In this session, participants will learn about research and application related to positive work. This includes correlates of job satisfaction, job crafting, and positive leadership.

  • Who should take an online course?
    To add a new question go to app settings and press "Manage Questions" button.Learners join our online courses for a variety of reasons and come from diverse backgrounds, professions, and age groups. Our online courses are a flexible way of learning about psychology without disrupting your daily life.
  • Are there prerequisites or language requirements?
    There are no prerequisites. Our courses are open to learners of all backgrounds and age groups. However, all courses are conducted in English, hence we would suggest learners to have a basic knowledge of English.
  • How do I register?
    Registration is available on our website. Simply add the course of your choice to the cart and checkout. You will be asked for basic contact information and your credit card payment. We require full payment at the time of registration and all tuition is billed in SGD dollars. Be sure to check with your bank or credit card company, as your financial institution may charge a foreign transaction fee.
  • How do I select a course?
    Learners join our online courses for a variety of reasons and come from diverse backgrounds, professions, and age groups. Our online courses are a flexible way of learning about psychology without disrupting your daily life.
  • My payment did not go through. What do I do?
    We apologise for this inconvenience. We encourage you to reach out to your financial institution as further permissions may be needed to complete the payment. You are also welcome to write to engage@positivepsych.edu.sg for further guidance. A strong Internet connection and up-to-date browser are strongly recommended.
  • I am registered. Now what?
    You will receive a confirmation email with information on when and how you can access your course 2-3 business days after registration. Do check the details. Kindly look out for the email as it might end up in the junk mailbox.
