Strengthen your Relationships with Positive Communication
Learn how you can elevate your health, wellness and relationships through Positive Communication.
7:30PM - 8:30PM
29 July, Wed
ABOUT THE EVENT
Communication is the crucial, fundamental component of lasting joy and success for anyone. The quality of our conversations has a significant impact on our lives, especially on the personal and professional relationships we build.
Often, most people would tend to focus on emphasising, if not overemphasising, on what is wrong instead of being attentive to what is right.
Such a focus often leads us to embed a negative tone in our conversations, whether we communicate inwardly (i.e. self-talk) or outwardly. If left unchecked, our negative communication has the potential to cause us emotional, mental and physical harm.
Positive Communication has tangible effects and benefits on our health, wellness and our relationships. Learn how you can bring these benefits into your life!
In this session, you will:
Adopt a "what is right" orientation to communicate and impact more positively
Learn what to say to engage and inspire someone effectively – by instilling the feelings of hope, love, joy and vitality
Discover how to synchronise positive communication amongst individuals of different cultural backgrounds – by incorporating the use of humour, the role of balancing positive and challenging communication in personal and work relationships, the need for fun and play in committed relationships
Know how to positively communicate in ways that that allow us to thrive in the full spectrum of life experiences
